In 2017, we started our first business to give people the best sleep experience by focusing on the air quality in the bedroom, BedBreezzz.
BedBreezzz, deriving from our Beyond Sustainable Corporation company, had as a goal to revolutionize the sleep experience by providing people with systems and solutions that are beyond standards.
You could say that we had big ambitions of creating the perfect sleep environment within a bedroom. We believed that creating an environment that reproduces the atmosphere of a forest (the sounds, smells, and good air bacteria) could improve the sleep quality of its users and their overall health.
We started our project by first monitoring the air quality inside the bedroom of our employees. We then realized that those rooms were displaying high levels of VOCs, CO2 and Humidity. Our employees also shared that they would sometimes wake up with headaches. One thing they all had in common was that they were closing their bedroom door before going to sleep. This confirmed that the importance of indoor air quality had been forgotten.
When the 2020 COVID pandemic happened, we saw how people underestimated the relationship between indoor air quality and the dreaded virus. Furthermore, scientists discovered that indoor air quality was directly linked to the transmission rate of viruses and bacteria. From this discovery, My Breezzz was born.
